南京餐饮商会(原名南京饮食行业协会)组建于1985年,是全市行业范围内,不分隶属关系的宾馆、酒店、餐饮企业等自愿组成的行业性、服务性、自律性、非营利性的社团组织,具有独立的法人资格,是南京市唯一经政府批准的酒店餐饮业社团组织。商会名誉会长:南京市政协副主席蒋裕德;会长:南京古南都集团董事长严敦志。
商会现有南京古南都集团、狮王府大酒楼、向阳渔港、星湖饭店、金鹰大酒楼、真知味酒店、刘长兴饮食有限公司等会员企业近290家,70%为1000平方米以上的大中型餐饮企业,个人会员273名(均为厨师长以上的骨干),日常工作由秘书处负责,设办公室、外联部、培训部、财务部、编辑部,以及厨师长分会、龙袍汤包分会、龙虾专业委员会、金牛湖餐饮专业委员会等4个分支机构。商会自办《餐饮纵横》会刊和《金陵美食》杂志。
商会遵循“民主办会、服务兴会、规范立会”的宗旨和“提供服务、反映诉求、规范行为”的办会准则,积极参与行业统计、行业规划、市场监督、价格协调等行业管理,承办大型美食节庆活动,开展对外交流、业务培训、人才推荐等服务工作。 
近几年,商会在推进地方餐饮业品牌建设,产品创新,“三名评选”(名店、名菜、名厨),行业自律等方面,做了大量工作,成绩卓著。04、05年连续两年被南京市政府评为“商贸流通工作先进单位”, 06年分别被省、市政府授予“全省百强行业协会”和“民间组织先进集体”称号, 07年荣获“全国餐饮业先进社团”荣誉称号。

Established in 1985, the Nanjing Cuisine Chamber of Commerce (also known as the Nanjing Food & Beverages Industry Association) is a voluntary professional, service-oriented, self-disciplinary, and nonprofitable social organization consisted of members from hotels, restaurants, as well as catering enterprises within the area of the city of Nanjing. It possesses the qualifications of an independent legal person, and is the only social organization in the food and beverage industry approved by the Nanjing Municipal Government. The Association currently has almost 200 members, including the Nanjing Grand Group,the Lion King Palace Restaurant, Luliuju Restaurant, Sunward Fishing Dock Restaurant, Maxiangxing Restaurant, Star Lake Hotel, Huajiang Hotel, Golden Eagle Grand Restaurant, Zhenzhiwei Restaurant, Yongheyuan Restaurant, Liuchangxin Food & Beverages Co.,Ltd., New Jinling People Restaurant, Confucius Temple Catering Co., Ltd., West Palace Hotel, Tianyige Restaurant, Muslim Anleyuan Restaurant, Zhangshengji Restaurant, and Red Apricot Restaurant, etc., among which 70% are large-or medium-sized properties covering floor spaces of more than 1000 square meters. The Association also has a list of 273 individual members, all of them being executive chefs.
Under the guidance of the Municipal Government, the Association has been playing a more and more important role in the development of the market economy. It has been engaging itself in the industry's management in the fields of business statistics, industrial planning, market monitoring, and price coordination, etc. through the ways of authorization, entrustment, and participation. With the step-by-step improvement of the mechanisms of the Government's macro-control, enterprises' independent operations, and industrial self-disciplinary coordination, the Association will play an even greater role. It warmly welcomes more participation and membership from hotels, restaurants, and caterers, in an effort to attainmutual benefit and common development.
